Als Amateurfotograf begann ich, schwule Männer für Dating-Websites zu fotografieren. Damals waren Digitalkameras noch nicht weit verbreitet. Ich lebte in Amsterdam und schloss mich mehreren Gruppen an, die Partys für schwulen Fetisch und BDSM organisierten, wie zum Beispiel XXXLeather und SM Bunker. Später organisierte ich Partys im Club Church. Fotos von einigen dieser Veranstaltungen sind noch heute in meinem Portfolio auf fotoserie.net zu finden. Sobald Smartphones mit Kameras üblich wurden, sank die Nachfrage nach meinen fotografischen Dienstleistungen rapide. Vor einigen Jahren – genauer gesagt 2023 – stieß ich beim Surfen im Internet auf eine Gruppe von Männern, die sich selbst als „Schwuchteln entlarven“ oder „Schwuchteln“ bezeichnen. Sie veröffentlichen Bilder von sich mit vollem Namen und Ausweis, um sich öffentlich bloßzustellen. Obwohl ich schon immer sehr aktiv im Internet war, war mir dieser Fetisch völlig unbekannt. As an amateur photographer, I started taking photos of gay men for dating websites. Back then, digital cameras were not widespread at all. I lived in Amsterdam and joined several groups that organized gay fetish and BDSM parties, such as XXXLeather and SM Bunker. Later, I organized parties at Club Church. Once smartphones with cameras became common, demand for my photography services dropped sharply.A few years ago—in 2023, to be precise—while surfing the web I stumbled upon a group of men online who identify as “exposing fags” or “faggots.” They post themselves with full name and ID, openly seeking public humiliation. Although I’ve always been very active online, I had never come across this fetish before. I found it intriguing and wanted to learn more.
I quickly realized that this kind of exposing usually stays inside closed bubbles. That prevents any real public humiliation. Some of these bubbles—especially Telegram groups—are so large, with thousands of members, that a photo or video gets buried by hundreds of other posts within just a few hours.
